The Enemies were a punk band from Oakland, California led by singer / guitarist Mike Pelino and featuring Dave Edwardson (Neurosis) on bass. This is their second full-length album, following up their split CD with Pitch Black, released on Lookout Records in 2001. "Seize The Day" shows how The Enemies continued to develop their refreshing original sound, gaining ingenuity and intensity. The music is dark, yet catchy and the melodic songs get stuck in your head while the powerful, hardcore sensibilities make you clench your fits and throw punches at the sky.
